Monday 3 pm
Effects of no sleep are setting in. Should be able to get some sleep tonight. Been a really tough day today with wind shifts and having to change sails we are now just passing south of Kinsale heading for the fastnet rock. If all goes well we should pass it tonight We have Andy and Nick behind us in a great dual they are gaining on us and it's taking all our efforts to stay ahead of them. They have a faster boat so I am not sure how much longer we can hold them back Joker are also gaining from behind and Aquelina just passed us so we are happy with position now.
We are now getting good wind and hitting 8.5 kts.
Great sailing weather and just passed a herd of whales. At least 4 blow holes going. Some sight they are bigger then the boat.
